How often do you take the time to unwind after a busy day? Not much, we suppose that if you are reading this article is that you probably face some trouble falling asleep. Taking 30 to 60 minutes to decelerate after a hectic day filled with stress and worries will help you calm your body and mind.
Here are some suggestions to help you design your bed time ritual :
- Switch off all electronics devices
- Declutter your bedroom
- Relax with meditation, breathing and mindfulness
- Listen to music
- Write down your thoughts
- Drink a camomile tea
- Bring your temperature down (ideal bedroom temperature is between 18.3 and 22.2 degrees Celsius).
- Relax with our Lavender Eye Pillow.
Don’t forget that most people need 20 to 30 minutes before being able to fall asleep, so if you are not sleeping after half an hour, don’t suffer in silence in your bed and stand up to repeat some of your rituals.
We hope this will encourage you to take more time before going to bed and that you will turn those little activities into a bed time routine.
